We too operate the same way and I believe it does lead to more time devoted to the patients as opposed to the computer. I sincerely hope that we are never forced into the electronic health record. I have yet to truly see the benefits that those not involved in healthcare seem to believe it will bring. I am in total agreement with you on this.
